Raymond Eagle Sanders

Raymond Eagle Sanders, 41, of Stilwell, Oklahoma, passed away on December 27th, 2019 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He was born to David and Nina (Sanders) Waeltz of Stilwell on November 26th, 1978.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Waeltz, as well as both his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Raymond enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews, and loved telling jokes and making people laugh. At home, he liked to write and draw in his journal, but also took time to enjoy the great outdoors, where he fished, searched for arrowheads, and cruised while listening to music.

He is survived by his mother, Nina Waeltz, of the home; his brother, Thomas Waeltz; his sister, Jennifer Waeltz; his nephew, Dakota Flynn; and nieces, Alyssia and Ebony Waeltz. A host of other relatives and friends also survive him.

A visitation will be held on January 2nd, 2020, from 1 PM to 8 PM at Cherry Tree Baptist Church in Stilwell. A funeral service will be held the following day, January 3rd, 2020, at 1 PM, also at Cherry Tree. Interment will follow in the Feathers Cemetery.
