JB Roach

Johnnie B. “JB” Roach Jr., the son of Johnnie B. Sr. and Lela Mae Roach was born December 18, 1941 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life on January 11, 2020 in Stilwell at the age of 78 years.

He was greeted in death by his parents; maternal and paternal grandparents; the love of his life, Shelia Ann Roach; brother, Bo Jack Martin; sister, Georgia Ann Springwater; nephew, Johnny Springwater; and granddaughter, Catrina Dowty.

JB loved and enjoyed many things, but it was no secret that the casino was his favorite place to be. He was an especially proud veteran, having served in the U. S. Air Force. He was a very loving husband, father, granddad and friend. He loved sharing stories about his time served in the Air Force. He enjoyed fishing and many other things. Above all, providing for his family was his number one priority. He enjoyed going out to eat, often taking each family member separately in order to spend special, one on one time together. JB will be missed by all who knew him.

Left to cherish his memory are three daughters, Sharlie Roach-Karr of Seattle, Washington, Ruth Dowty-Fourkiller of Stilwell, Oklahoma, and Tonia Mounce and husband Michael of Stilwell, Oklahoma; one son, Todd Dowty and wife Angelia of Stilwell, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Cheyenne Roach, Ashley Karr, Tiffani Hamilton and husband Ryan, Nicole Dowty, Melissa Dowty and companion Kyle Martinez, Joshua Fourkiller and wife Tiara, Rance Fourkiller and wife Samantha, Joah Fourkiller, and Ella Grace Mounce; three nieces, Debbie Springwater, Maria Springwater, and Zo Springwater; and two nephews, Scott Martin and Jessie Martin. A host of other relatives and friends also survive him.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the New Life Church in Stilwell, Oklahoma.
