Calvin Walkingstick III, 62, formerly of Stilwell, Oklahoma passed away August 14, 2020, in Opelika, Alabama. He was born to Calvin Jr. and Carlene (Catcher) Walkingstick on October 11, 1957, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents; maternal and paternal grandparents; three aunts, Edith Knight, Zona Flute and Murta Catcher; and three uncles, Anderson Catcher, Tim Catcher, and Floyd Catcher.
Calvin was a man of Faith. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He had a talent for producing Indian Artwork. He was well known for his woodwork. Calvin loved spending extra time working on cars.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 21 years, Margaret (Carlisle) Walkingstick of the home; two sons, Jerry Walkingstick of Stilwell and Joshua Walkingstick of Stilwell; daughter, Hollie (Walkingstick) DeBord of Tahlequah; four grandchildren, Dontaye, Antywone, Lathious and Kate-Lynn; sister, Betty Walkingstick of Stilwell; two brothers, Karl Walkingstick of Stilwell and Michael Ketcher; special little buddy, Colton Bellflower; and a host of other relatives and friends also survive him.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 19, 2020, from 1 pm to 5 pm at New Life Church in Stilwell, Oklahoma. A visitation will be held Thursday, August 20, 2020, from 11 am to 8 pm at New Life Church in Stilwell. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, August 21, 2020, at 1 pm at New Life Church in Stilwell with Bro. Glen Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow in the Piney Cemetery in Adair County, Oklahoma.
