Ronald Dale Galcatcher I

Ronald Dale Galcatcher I, 69, of Collinsville, Oklahoma passed away August 24, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born November 19, 1949 to Robert and Ida Galcatcher in Stilwell, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ida Galcatcher.

Ron served in the Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was wounded in battle and received a purple heart as well as other accommodations. He was a thoughtful and kind man. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He especially loved the small children and the babies. Ron was extremely proud of his native heritage.

He is survived by his son, Ronald Dale Galcatcher II; long-time companion, Dorris Stephens and two adopted grandchildren, Madison Paige Allen and Jackie Dean Allen. A host of relative and friends also survive him.

A visitation will be held August 29, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Parsons-Canoe-Beggs Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held August 30, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Echota Cemetery in Adair County, Oklahoma.
