Roger Stephen Wray

Roger Stephen Wray was born August 27, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio. Passed to Heavenly Glories at home, Broken Arrow, OK at 8:50 p.m., January 1, 2020 at age 70, due to stroke and diabetes complications.

He and his wife, JoAnn, had celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on July 6, 2019. He called her “favorite wife” and she called him “favorite husband.”

Roger’s family miss his steady, guiding hand, his ready smile, his willingness to always help, his unfaltering love for his family, but especially his faith in Christ Jesus, his Savior. At age14, he received Christ at a Billy Graham Crusade.

His life is celebrated by his wife, JoAnn Reno Wray, of the home; Daughter, Amie L. Wray Dalbec (Joe), their children, Savannah, Jonah, Isaac, and Olivia,f Hutchinson, MN; Son, Michael E. Wray (Grace) Ft. Worth, TX Grandson, Seth, Naval Lieutenant, stationed at sea. His brother, Donald E. Wray (Janice) Newark, OH. Niece and nephew, Anita Wray and Aaron Wray of Ohio. Niece, Jessica Wray-Nieves, New York; and nephew, Daniel Wray and family, CA.

Roger’s extended family include many cousins and their families including the Gall family of Ohio; Brophy cousins in various U.S. States; Cross family of Ohio; Fowler family, also in various states; and others which Roger had fond memories.

Roger requested cremation. There will be no funeral as family are unable to attend. The cremation is being handled by Parsons-Canoe-Beggs Funeral home. Condolences may be sent to his wife, JoAnn. Please contact her by email for an address at: laughingjoy@gmail.com.
