JC Eubanks

JC Eubanks, of Stilwell, Oklahoma passed away on Friday, September 27, 2019, after reaching the age of 77. After weeks of failing health, he died peacefully in the hospital in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, with his beloved wife Joyce by his side.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Lloyd Eubanks.

JC was born on July 31, 1942, in Stilwell, OK to Helen and Lloyd Eubanks. As a child, he enjoyed tinkering and trying to take apart his sisters' toys. He joked around with his sisters but was also caring and protective of them throughout the years. He attended grade school at Rocky Mountain. As a young man, his hobbies included training horses and playing basketball. He attended Stilwell High School and Cave Springs High School where he graduated. He was a member of the National Guard. On December 1, 1972, he married the love of his life, Joyce. He gave his heart to the Lord shortly after, on December 31, 1972. JC and Joyce spent 46 happy years together. He was a good father who taught his three sons the value of honesty and hard work. He was a dedicated employee of Stilwell Foods for almost 45 years.

JC's heart was wherever his family was. He especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports or taking them for trips on the hill to fish or explore nature. He also enjoyed woodworking. He loved to be with family and was always up for a reunion or gathering of friends. JC has been described by many as a good man. He is loved and will be missed by many!

JC is survived by loving wife, Joyce of Stilwell, OK; son, Phillip and his children, Scott and Kerigan of Stilwell; son Tim and wife Karen and their sons, Isaac and Elijah of Lincoln, AR; son Jay Eubanks and his daughters Jaeda and Alexa of Stilwell, OK; sister, Shirley Swafford and her husband Herman of Fayetteville, AR; sister JoAnn Eubanks of Stilwell, OK; mother-in-law Naomi Stephenson; brothers and sisters-in-law Fred and Trish Conway, Jan Davis, Joe and Wanda Eubanks, Colene Stephenson and Bobby Green, Brenda Stephenson and Paul Pinkerton, Raymond and Brenda Stephenson, Gary and Pam Stephenson, Darrell and Deby Lacie; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other friends and relatives whom he loved dearly.
