Douglas Coburn Obituary

Douglas "Bud" Ray Coburn Jr, 58, died peacefully at his home in Collinsville, Oklahoma, on December 7th, 2018. Bud was born November 29, 1960, in Ashland, Kentucky, to Douglas Ray Coburn and Beatrice Ann Gibbs. On May 25, 1985, Bud married the love of his life, Cynthia Anne Moody, in West Virginia. He is preceded in death by his father, Douglas Ray Coburn and step-father, Ronald Queen.

Bud spent 10 years serving his country in the United States Navy. He later worked in the telecom industry for more than 15 years, before starting Action Plus Home Inspections. His belief in integrity and good old fashioned "hard work" helped bring the business to a five-star rating, with over 150 reviews. Bud loved the outdoors, spending many hours on the lake in their pontoon boat and camping as often as possible.

Bud was dedicated to serving his family and his home was the center for them all. Bud cherised family gatherings and holidays, but more importantly, he lived for and served God and His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Bud is survived by his loving wife, Cindy of Collinsville; daughter, Kelly Albers of Owasso; son, Beau Coburn of Collinsville; daughter, Kim Reed of Collinsville; grandchildren, Daisy Albers, Michael Coburn, Savannah Coburn, Alex Coburn, Lily Reed, Karma Reed and Abel Reed; his mother, Beatrice Queen of Ashland, Kentucky and his sister, Connie Melvin of Ashland, Kentucky.
