Carolyn Barron

Carolyn (Walker) Barron, the daughter of Jack and Laurel (Sims) Walker, was born January 11, 1943 in Gainesville, Texas. She passed from this life on Saturday, July 13, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 76.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Carolyn worked many years as a flight attendant for Braniff Airlines. She loved to travel to exotic places, such as Greenland and Vietnam. She loved taking care of plants of all kinds.  She was an avid cat lover and enjoyed cheering on the Dallas Cowboys. Carolyn loved her family and was a devoted wife and mother. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She's survived by her husband, Terry Barron of the home in Tulsa, Oklahoma; one son, Jay Barron of Norman, Oklahoma. Other relatives and many friends also survive her.

There will be a graveside service held on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma with Bro. David Sears officiating. A memorial service will be held in her honor on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Parsons-Canoe-Beggs Funeral Chapel in Collinsville, Oklahoma.

The Parsons-Canoe-Beggs Funeral Home, of Collinsville, Oklahoma, has charge of arrangements.
