Ann (Duncan) Tarin, 78, of Stilwell, Oklahoma, entered her Heavenly Home, November 26, 2019 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Ann was born June 26, 1941 in Stilwell to Flynn and Lydia (Eli) Duncan.
She was preceded in death by her dad and mom; paternal and maternal grandparents; son, Kenny “Cooksey” Catcher; two sisters, Fayola Flute and Florence Sanders; brother, Roger Duncan; two grandchildren, Kendra Dawn Girdner and Kimberly Jo Young; four great-grandchildren, Kristen Renee Duncan, Cameron Joe Bunch, Gabriele Elizabeth Duncan and Baby Bunch.
Ann absolutely loved the Lord with all her heart and her faith was grounded in his promises. She served God and her church her entire life and lived everyday for the Lord. She was a faithful member of the Salem Baptist Church. Her arms and home were always open for anyone in need, family or friend. Next to the Lord, her family was the foundation of her life with her being the center. Ann loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally. She loved going to yard sales, family gatherings, and gospel singings. She especially enjoyed listening to The Singing Cookes, just one group of many. She was a member of the singing group, Gospel Inheritance. Spending many hours visiting friends and socializing was one of her favorite things to do. Ann dedicated most of her career to Bell School, where she served as a loving teacher’s aide, then later spending the remainder of her career as a dedicated employee at Facet Industries.
Left to carry on her legacy, are: her husband, Tomas Tarin Carrasco, of the home; one daughter, Margaret (Duncan) Vaughn, of Clarksville, TN; six sons, Michael Duncan, of Stilwell, Rick Duncan, of Stilwell, Jody Duncan of Stilwell, Timothy Tarin and wife Jackie, of Bunch, Wade Duncan and wife Connie, of Stilwell and Wylie Duncan, of the home; twenty one grandchildren, thirty seven great-grandchildren and 2 great-great- grandchildren; brother, Tom Duncan and wife Lucinda, of Stilwell. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and many friends also survive her. Ann was loved by all and will be deeply missed by those left to cherish her memory.
A visitation will be held Monday, December 2, 2019 from 1pm-8pm at Salem Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 1pm, Tuesday, December 3, 2019 in the Salem Baptist Church with Bro. Gary Flynn officiating. Interment will follow in the Salem Cemetery.
